The heart of Plowboys is competition-style barbecue. It began when Todd Johns and his brother- in-law, Randy Hinck, started Pork Pullin’ Plowboys, their competition BBQ team. Using the rubs they’ve created, Todd and Randy have traveled all over the country participating in competitions, eventually being crowned the American Royal Grand Champion in 2009. Not long after, they opened Plowboys BBQ in Blue Springs, MO. and these rubs have won the hearts of thousands who come for signature plates like their BBQ nachos, pulled-pork, and brisket.
